This special autumn event focuses on the search for rare birds along the Via Pontica flyway, including various Oriental Vagrants and other unusual eastern delights.

During your stay we will also visit several Bird-Ringing Camps along the Bulgarian and Romanian Black Sea coast where, with luck, we should witness the capture of some sought-after Siberian species, such as Red-flanked Bluetail, Pallas’s, Yellow-browed, Radde’s, Dusky and Booted Warblers, Rustic, Little and Pine Buntings, Black-throated Thrush, Richard’s and Olive-backed Pipit, Desert Wheatear, Oriental Turtle Dove, Siberian Stonechat (hemprichii ssp.) and more…
