Today, June the 18th 2011, during a birding trip with my Polish friend Kacper Zalewski, we had fabulous views of a dark morph Eleonora’s Falcon (Falco eleonorae) flying over the Bulgarian village of Zmeitza (20 km west from the city of Devin) located in the West Rhodopes Mountains near the Greek border.
